Robert and Carolyn Baribeault welcome you to The Farmers Arms, a rural country public free house that has been in the family for 36 years offering you a wealth of experience in fine dining and what they like to call the personal touch. The Farmers Arms is situated in the picturesque village of Llandegveth which lies at the bottom of the Soar valley approximately 2.5 miles from Cwmbran along the Treherbert road

The village is steeped in history dating back to 1150 when the church of St Tegfedd is thought to be built, the Pub was no doubt a welcome addition to the Village in approximately 1750. The Farmers Arms of today has since seen many changes over the years but in keeping with tradition the recent addition of a wood burner that crackles in the cold winters evenings creates a real sense of welcoming warmth. There is also a large outside patio area with a recently refurbished playground where the kids can play whilst the adults relax. There is also a pool room and a dart board for the more competitive customer.

The pub has a spacious lounge area where you can comfortably sit and enjoy a meal from the extensive menu which boasts many renowned homemade dishes at very competitive prices (see 'menus' page for more information).

There is ample parking and despite the rural location is only a 5 minute drive from Cwmbran, for detailed directions please visit the 'contact ' page. Why not enjoy a countryside walk in the local fields and woodland and make a day of your visit.

We look forward to seeing you and hope you enjoy your visit.

Rob and Carolyn.
